Air Travel

From Sylt Airport there are direct connections available to Berlin Brandenburg, Berlin Tegel, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Cologne/Bonn, Munich, Stuttgart and Zurich. From these airports there are connecting flights further afield to destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Alicante, Anatalya, Barcelona, Catania, Copenhagen, Faro, Korfu, London Stansted, Milan, Malaga, Moscow, Nuremburg, Olbia, Palermo, Palma de Mallorca, Paris Orly, Thessaloniki, Venice and Vienna. Aeroplanes land and take off from two terminals.

The island’s airline, Sylt Air, flies from Sylt to Hamburg three times a day during summer and also offers European-wide charter flights.
