The apartment has a great location, in the quieter part of the Friedrichstrasse, just a few steps from the convalescence center. In just 200 meters you are right on the beach or at the seafront. Bakeries, supermarkets, nice cafes or stylish boutiques are also within walking distance.

The Westerland railway station is only 600m away so that a holiday without a car is possible. But in case, you can park your car comfortably in the underground garage. If you bring your bike, you can equally leave it in the underground garage.

The apartment is exclusively furnished. The separate bedroom has high quality mattresses, suitable for hypo-allergenic bedding. The living room holds a comfortable, spacious couch, which you can change to a bed with slatted frame and solid mattress if required. The large flat screen TV (42 inches), offers all national and numerous international channels, in excellent HD quality.

In addition, the apartment has a brand new branded kitchen with exhaust hood, ceramic hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and high-quality dishes, pots and glasses.

Large closets provide plenty of storage space for a longer stay. You will love the newly renovated bathroom. The tiles are painted in a warm sand colour and you'll find large shower cubicle almost 100% even with ground (just 3 cm to bridge). On top you have a comfortable heating area for your towels and a separate urinal.

The apartment will enchant you with a wind-protected balcony from which you can take a look at the open sea or the vibrant Friedrichstrasse. On the balcony there are chairs and a table so you can enjoy the evening with a glass of wine.

If you are traveling by car, you can easily drive right into the underground parking of the apartment, park your car there on the reserved parking space (up to 2 m width) . The elevator ( barrier-free ) takes you from the underground garage directly to the apartment.

If you wish to bring your bike, no problem, there are also separate bicycle parking spaces in the underground garage .

Special features

As a guest to our City - Lounge, you'll benefit from a free high-speed internet connection (wireless and LAN) and a flat rate for all calls to German landlines.

With that you can share your holiday photos right away with family and friends, without having to search for hot spots.

If you need to wash during your stay, you will find a washing machine and a dryer in the basement of the building.

General Information

You will get the tourist card to access the beach area when you arrive at the appartment during the hand over of the keys.
If necessary, you can request a linen package for 25 Euro per person on top. The beds are then nicely prepared on your arrival, plus four towels for the bathroom and two dish towels for the kitchen.
The City - Lounge is a non smoking apartment . Because some of our regular guests are allergic to pets, we unfortunately cannot allow pets in the apartment . We kindly ask for your understanding.

How can I book an accommodation?
We distinguish between two booking types on our website. The landlord decides which type of booking he likes to offer, so that only one is possible per accommodation. You can see the valid booking type on the right side of the property listing under the price per night.

Properties with Enquiry Booking: To book an accommodation please contact the landlord by phone or via the contact form on the property listing. It is impossible to book such properties directly online on our website.

Properties with Online Booking: To book an accommodation directly and bindingly online, please enter your travel period, the number of guests and calculate the valid price. Afterwards, please complete the booking form in three easy steps. Alternatively, you can also use our telephone booking service.

Under which conditions can I book an accommodation?
Basically, the accommodation has to be vacant in your requested travel period. Furthermore, the conditions, such as max. number of guests, the minimum stay, the valid arrival and departure days have to be observed.

Please note: The rental contract is always concluded between the tenant and the landlord. Travanto is just the intermediary.

Is the accommodation vacant and bookable in my requested travel period?
In general, you are able to rent the accommodation, if your travel period is marked as vacant in the availability calendar. You can find the calendar nearly at the end of the property listing.

If a rental price can be calculated, a booking of the property is possible in your requested travel period. For further information about where and how you can calculate the rental price, please read the answer to question no. 6.

There might be vacant periods which you are unable to book. Please see question no. 16 for more information.

Is it possible to cancel my booking?
Yes, but please note that in case of a cancellation by the tenant the landlord might charge a cancellation fee. This applies in general when a rental contract has been already concluded bindingly.

How do I calculate the total rental price?
Please specify your arrival and departure dates by typing them in directly or using the calendar on the right side of this page. Alternatively, you can use the availability calendar right below the rental prices by clicking on the dates. Afterwards you enter the number of guests and, if necessary, select optional additional services. You receive the total rental price now, which includes at least the total accommodation price including the final cleaning. Surcharges for additional guests, discounts and optional additional services are also included, if stated. All prices include VAT. Whether the tourist tax is included or not is displayed below the total rental price.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?
If a security deposit is required, please see the "Additional Price Information" in the "Rental Prices" section on this page.

What happens after I have booked an accommodation?
Once you have made a binding booking, you will immediately receive a booking confirmation via e-mail. If you cannot find the e-mail in your inbox, please check also your spam folder. You will also receive the contact details of the landlord and the property address via e-mail as soon as we determine the payment receipt on our bank account.

If there are only 5 days between the booking and the arrival date, you will immediately receive the contact details of the landlord and the address of the accommodation via e-mail. In the case you booked an accommodation of our cooperation partners, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation as well as the contact details of the landlord and the property address. Please note our payment modalities and conditions at any time (see question no. 4).

Is it possible to exceed the maximum number of guests?
In general it is impossible to exceed the maximum number of guests. Not even if you organise more sleeping facilities by yourself. Children, regardless of age, are considered as a guest. The indicated rental price is only valid for the maximum possible number of guests.

Are there discounts for children?
Some properties offer special rates for children. You can recognize those accommodations, if you are asked about the amount and the age of the travelling children in the price calculation. If this is not the case, the stated prices apply to all guests (regardless of age).

Where is my accommodation located?
You can see the location of your accommodation on a map in the "Location" section on this page. Right below this map, you will find distances to interesting places e.g. city center, beach, ski lift or the next shopping possibility. Furthermore, an individual text written by the landlord gives you more information about your holiday destination.

Are pets allowed?
Whether you can bring your pets or not, please read the information in the "Features" section on this page. In general, the term "Pets not allowed" means that it is not permitted to bring any kind of pets at all.

When are the check-in and check-out times for my accommodation?
You find the check-in and check-out times under "General Information" in the "Property description" section on this page, if the landlord has entered these information. Deviations from this regulation can be discussed individually. If your arrival/departure has to be very early/late, we will gladly clarify this with the landlord, if the accommodation is only bookable online. If you chose a property with Enquiry Booking, please contact the landlord directly about this issue.

How does the handover and the return of the keys take place?
The key handover and return has to be clarified directly with the landlord. Please see question no. 18 to learn more about how and when you can contact your landlord.

Why is a price calculation impossible, even though the accommodation is vacant?
There may be various reasons for this:

  • Your travel period undercuts the given minimum stay.
  • Your desired date of arrival/departure is impossible according to the landlord's settings.
  • A gap in the calendar is impossible to rent, if it undercuts the minimum stay, e.g. A gap of three nights is not bookable, if the given minimum stay is five nights.
  • You cannot book an accommodation, if your desired travel period causes a gap which is lower than the minimum stay.
  • Your requested arrival date is too short-term.
  • Since some of our accommodations are from cooperation partners, it is possible that the given data may not be up-to-date. In this case your desired travel period may be no longer available in the price calculation.
  • 17
    My requested travel period is below the minimum stay. How can I continue?
    In this case your desired travel period is not bookable. You can extend your stay, if this is an option for you or you search for another accommodation with an appropriate minimum stay.

    If you chose a property with Enquiry Booking, please contact the landlord via phone or the contact form on this page. If no exception can be made, the minimum stay for this accommodation has to be respected.

    When and how can I contact the landlord?
    If you chose an accommodation with Enquiry Booking, you can contact the landlord by phone (click on button "Contact Landlord") or via e-mail by clicking on "Send Enquiry". You find both buttons on the right side of the property listing.

    If you chose an accommodation with Online Booking, you will receive the contact details of the landlord by e-mail after we confirmed your payment receipt.
