Golfing enthusiasts will find particularly good conditions for their hobby in Sylt: permanent winds that blow from the North Sea over the island often affect the ball’s flight trajectory. Experienced players can try out all of the different golf courses in every corner of the island, and might even improve their handicap. Beginners to the sport are also welcome – taster courses provide the inexperienced with the opportunity to swing a club and to find out what it’s all about.
Every Sylt golf course has something different on offer. At the Golf Club Sylt there are wonderful views oft he Wadden Sea and the Kampen Lighthouse, from the Golf Club Morsum of a small forest.
